Build for Visual Studio 2015 Preview?

It looks like VisualHG doesn't integrate with Visual Studio 2015 Preview yet. Is this known to be hard, or is it just a matter of getting round to it? (Not knowing anything about Visual Studio plugins, I have no idea how hard this is likely to be.)

Will there be a VisualHG version that works with VS 2015? Is there now or will there be a beta version that works with the preview?

you can do it yourself:

I manually edited the VisualHG 1.1.6 build to include vs 2015 in the supported product section of the manifest, and it seems to be working.

Here are the steps:
  1. download VisualHG 1.1.6 (VisualHG.vsix)
  2. unzip it to an empty folder (it's a normal zip file)
  3. edit the extension.vsixmanifest file
  4. add to the <SupportedProducts> section:
      <VisualStudio Version="13.0">
      <VisualStudio Version="14.0">
      <VisualStudio Version="15.0">
  1. zip the files, rename the zip file to VisualHG.vsix, then double-click it to add to visual studio 2015.

That's perfect -- Thanks!

There's a pull request that has this change. We just need to get the developers to review it and merge it in with default and make us a new build. The pull request only lists Version="14.0" specifically, but I actually think that's the correct version for VS 2015. (They don't line up with years, and VS 2015 was called "VS 14" for a long time before getting its official name.)
